In Fort Myers Florida on November 28 2025 at the age of 68 Gerald Edouard Lamothe (Gerry) passed away suddenly, although definitely in his happy place.
He leaves behind his spouse , Claudine Soulard, his stepson, Alexandre Jean Soulard Steele (Karine Vinette), his mother Linda Lamothe and his beloved nieces Samantha and Ashley, Lysanne Soulard (Paul) Francois Soulard (Pascale) , Dominique Soulard (Redoca), Diane Savard , innumerable friends from all over the world as well as extended family in Estonia.
All he wanted was for people to be happy , and if he could help make it happen…he did. His heart was so big he had room for every single one of us.
Celebrations of life , or in his own words a big party, will be held on the beach on Sanibel Island Florida and at his cherished Lake Louisa in Quebec Canada,
In lieu of flowers, donations to the lake Louisa homeowners association to help keep his beloved lake beautiful would be truly appreciated.

Le 28 novembre 2025 , à Fort Myers en Floride , à l’âge de 68 ans, Gérald Edouard Lamothe (Gerry) est décédé subitement mais dans un de ses endroits préférés.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe, Claudine Soulard, son beau-fils, Alexandre Jean Soulard Steele (Karine Vinette), sa mère Linda Lamothe et ses nièces bien-aimées Samantha et Ashley, Lysanne Soulard (Paul), François Soulard (Pascale), Dominique Soulard (Redoca), Diane Savard , d’innombrables amis a travers le monde entier ainsi que sa famille éloignée en Estonie.
Pour Gerry ,le plus important était que son monde soit heureux et si il pouvait aider a cela, il passait à l’action. Gerry avait un si grand cœur qu’il y avait une place pour chacun de nous.
Des célébrations en son honneur, ou, comme il aurait dit, un mechant party, auront lieu sur la plage de Sanibel Island en Floride ainsi qu’au lac Louisa, qu’il chérissait tant, au Québec. En lieu de fleurs, des dons à l’association des propriétaires du lac Louisa pour aider à préserver la beauté de son lac bien-aimé seraient appréciés.
