Boat Washing

In order to protect Lake Louisa from invasive species that can spread from one lake to another, users who wish to launch their motorized or non-motorized watercraft on Lake Louisa must first come to the Boat Wash Station to have their boat inspected and washed, in accordance with local By-Law 2015-002-001.

Any and all watercraft entering the lake requires an inspection and wash, including motorboats, pedalos, sailboats, fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, or any other craft.

The Boat Wash station is located beside the Fire Hall at 116 Louisa Road. Drop by during opening hours or make an appointment by calling at the Municipal Office at 450-562-0701.

If you would like to apply for an Access Permit attesting that your boat has never circulated in another body of water other than Lake Louisa, you can find the Access Permit and Annexe (for multiple crafts) on the Wentworth Municipal Website (scroll down to find the Boat Washing area).
