About the LLPOA

Lake Louisa is a lovely lake in Quebec, Canada, with several islands dotting the water and many cottages nearby. The town area of Louisa is close to the lake, providing a small support community. Lake Louisa is about an hour and a half east of Ottawa, and about an hour and a half northwest of Montreal.

We are an association of property owners from the Lake Louisa area, be it cottages or year-round homes.

The primary focus of the Lake Louisa Property Owners Association (LLPOA) is to help distribute important environmental information to all Lake Louisa residents and to promote sustainable environmental practices which will benefit our Lake.

The goal of the volunteers of the LLPOA is to help preserve the quality of Lake Louisa’s water, its shoreline and the integrity of the large watershed which supports our Lake.

The LLPOA is aware that the clear water of Lake Louisa is a beautiful and fragile gift which we can pass onto the next generation? But only if we as Lake residents understand and implement sound environmental practices today.
